Twelve devices. One protocol per person.

We do not pick a machine and make your face fit it. Your scan decides the device, the settings and the interval — and the numbers on this page are the ones we actually see in clinic, not the ones on the manufacturer's brochure.

Fractional CO2 laser treatment

Fractional CO₂ Laser

Deep ablative resurfacing for scarring, texture and photo-damage. The most powerful thing in the building and the one we say no to most often — it demands genuine downtime and skin that can heal.

3–5 daysdowntime · 1–3 sessions
RF microneedling

RF Microneedling

Insulated needles delivering radiofrequency at depths from 0.5 to 3.5mm. Safe across every skin tone, which is why it carries most of our laxity and pore work.

1 daydowntime · 3–4 sessions
Picosecond laser

Picosecond Laser

Ultra-short pulses that shatter pigment mechanically rather than by heating it. Our melasma workhorse, and the safest pigment device we own for deeper skin.

Nonedowntime · 4–6 sessions
Cryolipolysis body contouring

Cryolipolysis

Controlled cooling of stubborn subcutaneous fat, measured with a 3D volumetric scan rather than a tape measure and an optimistic angle.

Nonedowntime · 1–2 cycles
HIFU lifting treatment

HIFU Lifting

Focused ultrasound delivered at SMAS depth — the same layer a surgeon lifts. The only non-surgical lifting technology with an evidence base we consider solid.

Nonedowntime · 1 session/year
Diode laser hair removal

Diode Hair Removal

Triple-wavelength 755/808/1064 with contact cooling at 5°. Comfortable enough that most clients skip numbing entirely after the first session.

Nonedowntime · 6–8 sessions
Vascular laser

Long-Pulsed Nd:YAG

Vascular work: thread veins, persistent redness and rosacea-associated flushing. Also our safest option for hair on the deepest skin tones.

0–1 daydowntime · 2–4 sessions
EMS body device

Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation

Supramaximal contraction for abdominal and glute definition. It is not a weight-loss device and we will say so before you ask.

Nonedowntime · 6 sessions
Skin scanning at Aura Lab
The scan

The device is chosen by data.

Every client is scanned before anything is switched on: cross-polarised and UV imaging, elasticity readings at four points, and a 3D volumetric capture for body work. It takes eleven minutes.

That scan is what determines the device, the fluence, the depth and the interval between sessions. It is also what tells us, roughly one time in fifty, that no device we own will help you — at which point we say so and refer you elsewhere.

A clinic with one machine will always recommend that machine.

You are re-scanned at week 6 and week 12 on the same rig, and the file goes home with you either way.

Safety

What we do before we treat.

01

Test patch, everybody

Regardless of skin tone, device or how many times you have had it done elsewhere. 48 hours, no charge, no exceptions.

02

Fitzpatrick assessment

Done under standardised lighting rather than by eye across a desk. It changes settings more than any other single input.

03

Medication review

Isotretinoin, photosensitising antibiotics and certain supplements all change what is safe. We ask, in detail, every visit.

04

Clinician-only operation

Every energy device here is operated by a registered nurse or doctor with a Core of Knowledge certificate. No exceptions for the "gentle" ones.

05

Calibration log

Output measured weekly, logged, and available to any client who asks. Drift is the reason clinics get inconsistent results.

06

Same-day complications line

Direct number for 72 hours after any session. Anything unexpected is seen the same day at no charge.
