Numbers we publish whether they flatter us or not.

Every figure below comes from our own scan records across the last rolling twelve months — 3,104 completed protocols. We update this page each quarter, including the quarters where it gets worse.

92%

of clients hit their week-12 target on the first protocol

6%

needed their protocol changed at the week-6 scan

2%

Clinical skin analysis session

Every visit is scanned

Cross-polarised imaging, elasticity readings and — for body work — a 3D volumetric scan. Your file goes home with you at week 12 whether you continue with us or not.

By concern

Where we do well, and where we do not.

Target hit rate at week 12, by primary concern. Melasma is our weakest category and always has been — it is a recurrence problem, not a clearance problem.

Pigmentation — sun damage96% hit target · n=612
Pigmentation — melasma71% hit target · n=388
Texture & pores95% hit target · n=744
Acne scarring88% hit target · n=301

Measured

What "hit target" means

A numeric goal agreed at week 0 and written into your file — for example, a 40% reduction in pigment area, or 4mm of volumetric loss at the flank.

  • Set by the clinician, agreed by you
  • Measured on the same rig each time
  • Never adjusted downward mid-protocol
Honest

What we count as a failure

Anything short of the week-0 target, including results the client is delighted with. Several of the 8% left very happy indeed.

  • No "satisfaction" metric substituted for outcome
  • Withdrawals counted as failures
  • Referrals out counted separately
Corrected

What happens at 6%

The week-6 scan is flat, so we change the protocol at our cost. Different device, different depth, or occasionally a referral to dermatology.

  • No additional charge, ever
  • Remaining sessions refundable instead
  • Reason recorded and reviewed quarterly
Before and after imaging
Photography

Why our before-and-afters look understated.

Fixed rig, fixed distance, chin rest, identical light. No downlight on the "before", no ring light on the "after", no change of expression and no make-up in either frame.

We also publish the cross-polarised and UV captures, which are considerably less flattering than the standard image and considerably more informative. Those are the ones your clinician actually works from.

If a result only exists under better lighting, it is not a result.

Every image used publicly carries a specific, separate consent that any client can withdraw at any time, with no explanation required.

Adverse events

The part nobody publishes.

Twelve months, 3,104 protocols, roughly 14,700 individual sessions.

Reported

41 adverse events

0.28% of sessions. Thirty-four were prolonged erythema or swelling beyond the expected window, five were post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, two were blistering.

Resolved

All 41 closed

Every one seen within 24 hours at no charge. Thirty-nine resolved fully within six weeks; two required dermatology referral and resolved by month four.

Reviewed

Quarterly, in writing

Each event is reviewed by the clinical lead and the operating clinician. Four settings protocols have been permanently changed as a result.

Refunded

Automatically

Any client with an adverse event has their remaining sessions refunded on request, with no argument and no requirement to stop treatment.
